My new Razr & Lapdock

For all of you who have been effected by Tropical Strom Debby, my thoughts and prayers are with you.


On a more positive note, I decided to upgrade my Verizon DroidX2 phone to the Razr. I am luckily grandfathered into a older unlimited data plan on my phone and to keep current plan and get a new phone at an affordable contract price I had to do it by today because as of 6/28 Verizon will be launching a new plan that will force people to change their plan if the upgrade their phone. This is not good for people like myself who have unlimited. So besides that reason I also wanted to upgrade my phone as I wanted  the Motorola Lapdock 100! (This device only works with the razer series.) Since the device uses your phone and its data plan to run it, I now have unlimited Internet now :)  My  kids have been running up my wifi and now I can allow them to use this instead to play learning games like free hangman, nick jr., facebook, etc... They can also watch movies and even do their online school work; even when we are traveling!!! The lapdock is pretty cheap at only $200, much cheaper IMO then a laptop $-)   So far I am loving it, the only thing I wish is that it was bigger as it is only 10 inches. They do have a 15 inch option for $300, but price was an issue so I opted for the smaller one. If you have a razer or can buy one and have the unlimited data or even if you don't I would get this device. Also they have different $50 lapdock available, but only for the Bionic phone.
