My daughter has been having a lot of fun learning homophones. The English language can be a bit confusing when they are learning to read with so many words sounding the same and being spelled differently like to, too, & two Or words that are spelled the same and yet still have different meanings like "Rose" A flower that is a rose or He rose up yesterday from a nap still tired.
We have been playing alot of homophone games which is helping her understand and learn. I have also had her sit down and try to think of as many words that sound alike but are spelled different and also words that are spelled alike but have different meanings. This lesson has defiantly been pretty cool & a lot of fun for both of us this week .
